The German capital is officially nicknamed "World City of Culture, Politics, Medias and Sciences". Its significant population makes Berlin the second largest city of the European Union and it has become an important crossroad at the European level.

80% of Berlin's economy consists of services. The most significant sectors are Culture, tourism, biotechnology as well as information and communication techniques.

Culture:

The philharmonic society of Berlin and the "international festivals" are renowned worldwide and contribute to the city's international atmosphere. Numerous operas, theatres, and museum propose a much diversified cultural program. Thanks to the largest German park, Berlin offers lots of possibilities to spend nice Sundays with your family.

Education:

As Berlin has its own education policy, children have the possibility to pass their baccalaureate after 12 years and even after 11 years within special preparatory classes. Whatever the age and origins of the child, we can put you in touch with French, English, American, Japanese, and Russian schools in Berlin and in its surroundings. The "International Scholl Berlin," the "Metropolitan School Berlin," and the "BBIS" give the possibility of a large diversified formation up to the baccalaureate. Housing:

Because Berlin was separated for 40 years, the real estate market is much diversified. Today we find typical RDA houses in the eastern parts of the city, where the rent are generally less expensive than in the western parts of Berlin. "Lichterfelde-West" in the south-west of Berlin is the luxurious and most ancient neighbourhood of Germany. Together with "Dahlem", "Grunewald", and "Westend", it is one of the most expensive and elegant places of Berlin. They are often refered to as "Villas arch".
